if i knew this to begin with i would of tried to buy fan club, i would come from canada, so i didnt want to go for just 2 shows, because i dont really want to go to isle of wright festival, but now that manchester and amsterdam both have 2 shows, that makes the travel costs much more reasonable to be able tos ee 4 or 5 shows. but now im upset i dont have fan club for the first nights in each city. there was no fan club for the nights added?

  • There was no fan club for night 1 either. The system imploded/was sabotaged.....

See sticky for details, but I think standing is getting early entry with wrist bands if you can show you bought from a legitemate place (i.e. not scalper) and have a valid membership.

Though, as with most of these complaints, I find this one way off the mark as well. I think Tim and the Crew should let us all know when Ed takes a piss, so we can be prepared for the flush.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

so there was no fan club for any of the 4 amsterdam or manchester shows because the system crashed? i am coming from canada thinking i will buy floor tickets off scalpers, since its ga,and i can get close that way maybe, but how are the europe pits nowadays for pj? is there still crowd surfing and rough circle pit or anything like that? or is it pretty calm? alot of usa shows have been pretty calm for non pj i have seen lately, and pj always has seats

We do rough and tumble pretty well in the UK, good natured of course! I'm not going to post any of the sites names to keep within 10c guidelines but shop around and you'll get standing in Manchester for £75gbp and they usually add on a silly postage charge of £7.99 for a fucking envelope! Failing that, make travel and accomodation plans and do the trip and post a thread on Lost Dogs for what tickets you want. You might not get standing every night but you could get a block with a great view if you're lucky. Even coming without tickets and getting into a decent group of people will probably find you a place. We're very resourceful over here and as helpful as you need! See you in Manchester! :D
Like a book among the many on a shelf...

    Dublin 02 Arena - 22/6/10. Belfast Odyssey Arena - 23/6/10. London Hyde Park - 25/6/10. Berlin Wuhlheide - 30/6/10.
    Manchester MEN - 20/06/12. Manchester MEN - 21/06/12
  • and rough circle pit or anything like that?s

    lol.
what decade, and what band do you think this is?

Although to be fair, there was a circle pit in NYC when i saw jane's recently.

I am guessing that (and don't hit me here) PJ shows - on the whole - are not consistently HARD enough to even warrant a circle-pit.

    lolz.

i can GUARANTEE you there is pushing and shoving and "My-Eddie-Vedder-My-Spot-You-Move-I-Here-Ism" going on though.
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

i have only been 1 pj ga show and it was a 40k one with no seats at all so lots of pushing and shoving very crowded kind of circle pit i think up front and lot of crowd surfing there was i remember. never been to europe so i was wondering how the ground was, im happy no big pits, i think i will try to get floor tickets off scalpers, i like how all the shows are general admission no seats in a way, since i missed the 10c sale it no big deal, i still almost get the same seats. as were most of the 10c tickets general admission too?

anyone been to a show in amsterdam before? what is the smoking laws there for arena or anything? or can people gonna be puffing away at the show and the arena will be hotboxed by the end of the night? ir emember montreal before the smoking curfews in 2007 or whatever it was, alot of rock shows would get hot boxed, is amsterdam like this, or people even though it legal not smoke at the show so much? or it gonna be blunts everywhere?
  • id love to see eddie or jeff or mike or matt or stone smoke some weed on stage, maybe boom will smoke? i can pass him a blunt?
