    I thought I had heard a song by them a few months ago and liked it..but this afternoon I listened to some songs and it was completely not what I expected..Now i'm wondering who it was that I liked... :lol:

    Love me some Foster the People! Torches is one of my favorite albums of this year. Plan on catching one of the Central Park dates!! Especially with The Kooks opening :thumbup:

    I saw them at the KROQ xmas gig last Sunday.....very sterile band, in the same style as Vampire Weekend.

    I lost interest and ultimately did not go to see them as I had earlier planned on doing.

    I wouldnt pay money to see them live. They have a few catchy songs that I definitely turn up on the radio though. They are playing a festival here but they clash with Soundgarden. Choice was easy there haha

    Pretty much every song on the album is o.k. to good, intrested in hearing their second effort. Mark Foster sings like he's Barry Gibbs son, but it works.

    They are good but they are not hits. I actually liked the whole album. I think people are going to shit all over them once they get sick of pumped up kicks and all of the remixes that followed.

    Not what I meant. More power to them if they're making money, but can we really call this style of music "indie" anymore? It's become another form of pop.
