duh!!!! I am fully aware...I'm not about to except another excuse that these pervs can use to avoid the law. A mans washroom is for men, a woman washroom is for woman...why is that a problem.

While I'm not saying I want to go to all unisex public restrooms or dressing rooms, let's ask ourselves for a minute: Why do they really need to be separate?

I totally agree. Fear and ignorance. (Of course a lot of it is willful ignorance, that comes from bigotry/discrimination/hatred, that comes from fear. So I guess it's a vicious cycle. )

all of you who are talking about therapy for transgender people don't appear to have a lot of knowledge on the issue... intensive therapy is a requirement before you are allowed to undergo gender reassignment surgery, it is only allowed after recommendations from the treating shrink. Are you suggesting that you know more about the human mind than proffessionals in this area.
Also if you think it is unnecessary and that the bigotry (and it is bigotry - misspelt I know) should have look into the suicide figures for transgender individuals

we class male and female on genitalia . its that simple. people after that fact can choose, grow learn and accept their place in the gender map

That's what the issue is... an employee's failure to follow employer guidelines. It gets all tangled up because the term, 'TransGendered' comes into play.
Had the customer been Gay, for example... same results... employee's violation of company policy towards customer... employee fired. And this would have never hit the (so-called) news.
