The bible (imho) is called Spraycan Art by James Prigoff and Henry Chalfant. It has work from most of the big names from the early days. It has most of the big, the style improving names in it. I studied it, copied work to learn, copied fill in's, colour schemes, actually most of my style I learned from it, and I have to give credit to my bro and cousins work.

A shitload of good titles: http://www.at149st.com/books.html

Now that winter is here it may be a bit longer to capture some pictures. Considering the place of interest is on RTA Regional Transport Authority property. The art is located on a several retaining walls and some bridge foundations in a narrow section of the train route. So it will be a little tricky to get in this area without being commanded to leave. But I will get these pictures one way or another.

    looking forward to it!

the red tags are someone elses.

no, theyre from various places around sydney. the one in the alley behind the garbage bin was the big surprise. id just come out of the theatre and happened to spot him. had i exited through another door or been distracted by people i never wouldve spotted him so that ones kinda my fave... even tho its a shit pic.

the alley shot mood is contemplative like it. nice collection of ear's work. i am impressed that you had noticed its work and collected the shots over time from random adventures. the work in the studio, galleries and street is fantastic. thank you for sharing.

with one of them we were driving down a street and i spotted a work and i said pull over now! i jumped out, snapped the pic, got back in the car.. all the while my man had a perplexed look on his face... until i explained it to him.

i was actually looking through my melbourne album deciding whether a pic i took in an alley down there is his work. im gonna email it to him to make certain.

the other week we went to an exhibition of street art on an island in the middle of sydney harbour. this album is a mix of art and history. theres some of ears' work, which as you can imagine, i was delighted to see. street art is such a democratic action... anyone can do it and perhaps everyone should... its terribly liberating.
