    love this band!! all my life up into this past july i always found my new artists and music from Q101 WKQX Chicago's Alternative radio station, but in july they got bought out and reformatted to TALK radio on FM :( :evil: but on their last day of alternative radio the dj's were allowed to play anything from their collections and say their goodbys with no worrys of having to conform to a playlist set by the excutives. anyhow this groups had a couple of songs played that day. i couldn't get the songs out of my head, and not ever hearing of them i assumed it was a group of the early 90s that just went away. but when i jumped on the computer and checked them out, i was stunted to find that they were brand new, with that classic sound of the early 90s alternative music.

    and now they are covering my favorite band!!! FUCKING S W E E T ! ! ! !

    Just not to the degree I like all those other bands.

    They're alright, there is something a little too polished about their sound for me to get really into them. I wouldn't mind checking them out live in a small club though.

    They had a song dedicated to Joe Strummer, so I certainly give them props for that.

    It's wierd...I'm not really a Springsteen fan, but I hear a lot of similarity in Gaslight's music. But I really love Gaslight Anthem; they're constantly growing on me.
