I was lucky enough to get an extra PJ20 vinyl from my local store today.
I would like to trade it for some cool stuff I don't have.

I don't think A or B is relevant. As a matter of fact, the market value of a couple of the things he's looking for are probably around or below the retail price of what he paid for the record. Unless you run Beckett Pearl Jam Junk Monthly, I don't think it's too cool to just swing in and poop on his attempt to swing a deal. If he's overvaluing it, the thread dies with or without your expert evaluation.

He has it, people want it. There is nothing wrong with offering to trade an item and putting up a want list at the same time. We are consenting adults in here and it isn't up to you to determine whether these are fair trade or not as you are not the one doing the trading.0 -

About both "rarity" and "value" of the items I am looking for in trade.
I bought a record from a friend that owns a record store. I paid the retail price of $80 (plus tax) I am not trying to take advantage of anyone, If I wanted to do that I would go for the $250 it seems to be fetching on ebay.

Look around the threads on the porch and ask your local vinyl stores, online vinyl shops, etc., etc., BEFORE you give away some REALLY hard to come by items for this. It's still available out there folks but ya gotta do a little digging methinks to find them. i think he's saying that you may still be able to get it....you just have to dig around. he's also offering a bit of advice before anyone parts w/ something that they really love to acquire the PJ20 vinyl.
