i think that when we are told something is just common sense, what it is is just an agreed upon consensus.

what you are saying is that UFOs are in fact government aircraft, which while it is your opinion based im sure on deep research and reflective thought, is not at all so widespread an opinion to be able to be held up as just common sense.

how can whether aliens have visited here or not be of great debate when its not even a fact that they exist in the first place???

This entire debate we are having is based on you speaking of facts and saying that all ufo's are simply government. When in reality you don't know, then you cite common sense and logic.

and common sense and logic (in this case) should keep us from saying for sure what we know these flying objects to be. We can say that the probability is high of some of these crafts being secret military etc,

I'm not making a solid judgment whichever way, as I simply do not know what all those Flying object are or were.

Some cases they are military, sometimes maybe not. I don't know.

Anyway, the funny thing is this, we were talking about the caller at the end of the video, who said that area 51 was not about aliens but rather inner dimensional beings etc etc. Then you came in "ufo's are government" then ask me "what the fuck are these aliens doing here?"

common sense tells me they're probably gov't. that makes more sense than the explanation where we are being visited by an intelligent race from a far away planet.

i apologise if you think im simply being contrary. yes youre right it makes more sense that theyre probably govt aircraft rather than the alien spacecraft, but thats hardly a great stretch now is it? and that hardly makes it common sense. the fact is neither of these suppositions tells me that they are in FACT govt aircraft when the alternate choice is what some would consider fantastical based on the thought that we cant possibly be alone.

Some show with some scientists, explaining numbers that would blow our minds and how many chances there would be for life to evolve to that point... interesting stuff.
