He has a new 7"out but so far I can only find it overseas :?
  • I saw Mark a few monthes ago in portland,OR. He was selling a extremely rare 10" live at the Union Chapel in London 2010. I got to sit down with him and chat, he signed the 10" personally for my wife and I. We came to find out that the town my wife grew up in is where Marks grandparents and uncle live. My wife knows his uncle bob who owns a barbershop in goldendale,WA. Such an amazingly sweet guy to meet. Don't let his stage presence scare you, if you get the chance to ever meet him, he's a jolly dude. Excited for the new album, Blues Funeral! on vinyl too!

Hey man, that's a fantastic story. Yes, his stage presence would have kept me away; not that I thought he was surly, but more insular. As a matter of fact, if you had asked me to guess what adjective you would use, it probably would've taken me a week and a half before I got to "jolly."

The song sounds great and really amped to hear the album. As usual, he has some heavy hitters backing him.
  • I think my and my girlfriend's life will be completed if Mark Lanegan and Eddie Vedder make a cd or something together..
  • After the show, Mark was donning a backwards mariners cap.

Goodluck! Really, i wish i had the extra dough to grab a signed poster for the show, it was a full on female nude in red and silver ink! Only 20 were printed! Im sure i'll never ser it again.

I just saw Jack Irons about a month ago... at the Viper Room. He was drumming for a band called 'The Arthur Channel' with former 'Eleven' mate, Alain Johannes. He sounded great.
Looking forward to this collaboration with Lanegan.
