just recieved...Looks like the Soundstage Direct is a bust...

And I thought I was one of the early ones...

    A friend of mine called them and was told they aren't getting any. Not sure if thats true but that sucks.

    This is too bad. Hopefully everyone can find a real preorder somewhere.

    I preordered from 3 places now... not too hopeful any of them will come in.

    I preordered from SSD way back when they put the vinyl on presale for $64.99...as of a few minutes ago I haven't gotten any notification email saying they can't fulfull my order....we'll see, keeping my fingers crossed.

    Guy from SoundStage called me personally to explain (which is pretty awesome). Apparently Sony just told retailers yesterday that supply was going to be SUPER restricted after initially telling them it would be unlimited. Seems even the retailers are a bit fed up at this point. Only winners are the ebay bastards. You can't tell me they didn't know demand would be this high, starting to smell like an intentional price gouge by someone.......Sony?

    I just called SSD and confirmed that my preorder will be honored. Apparently there is word that Sony only had around 1500 of these worldwide available for shipping - whether or not that includes what was sold through Ten Club, no one really knows.

    So there is still hope for people that preorderd....I'm sure they are honoring the orders in the order they got them.
