anywhere they play I will be there but it would be nice for once to see a pearl jam show that I don't have to fly out to. I'm really beginning to hate flying period

  • Hate to be a spoiler, but that page looks like nothing more the content designed to position certain keywords and phrases to attract search engines to that site and onto the band pages and get people to sign up to their mailing list. And of course to buy tickets when they have them. They're just making sure they're always in google when you do a search for Pearl Jam Tickets or RHCP Tickets, etc

yes because if the 10Club ticket lines are anything like Hartford 2008 you'll sweat your balls off. Go early!
Good thing I wasn't a member then. That must've been a nightmare standing in that line. It was just a fucking hot day/night all around.
My buddy Uncle Josh and I did the smart thing and went early. Checked in at the Super 8, went to the arena and got the tickets when only 10 people were in line and then found a packie and some ice and just chilled out for a while. The parking lot of the Super 8 filled up quickly. I kid you not, we took a cab over at around 7:30pm or so and the line must have consisted of 100 ppl or so for 10c tix. The show started later then usual I remember. I also remember them doing some texting gimmick on the jumbotron and Eddie dancing with a nice girl from a charity.
Oh yeah, I remember that texting thing. I forgot what it was for.

Eddie dancing with the girl Katie was awesome.

I bought Cubs tickets from this place.

There were 8 of us attending, and as anyone who has bought tickets in the grandstand knows, it's more convenient to cluster the group in 2 or 3 rows, as opposed to having all them strewn out in a line. That way, it's more easy to to communicate.

So, after carefully selecting 3 different groups of tickets for a Sunday game (2 in a row, 3 in the row behind that, and 3 in the row behind that) and making 3 different purchases, they sent me:

    2 tickets in aisle 204
    3 tickets in aisle 205
    3 tickets in aisle 206

Except, the tickets in aisle 206 were for the previous Wednesday's game. It was such a hassle to get a refund.

Regardless! Looking forward to further PJ updates!

I'm on GoTickets.com often to buy tickets or just to randomly check and see if any PJ tickets for upcoming shows sneak on there before something is announced and I've never seen a section like that on their site. Usually it's the standard "Sorry! We don't have any Pearl Jam tickets at this time...please sign up for our mailing list and we'll notify you as soon as their available." For example, if you google Aerosmith tickets and find the GoTickets link it has something very similar to what you would find if PJ were not touring in the near future.

I could be wrong but I've never run across a page like that on their site before :? I honestly think they're playing the US next year. GoTickets isn't stupid, they want people to keep checking their site and buy from them instead of TM, StubHub, Ebay, TicketsNow, etc. so if they have news about bands they know will sell out quickly like PJ, DMB or RHCP they're going to put up any info they have as soon as they have it.

These guys have been right about information before.

Eddie Vedder and the boys will head back out on the road in the summer of 2012 with their seemingly endless stream of new material. Just where will they play? Well that's not all finalized yet, but they should be hitting enough US cities to get somewhere close to you!

The bigger news on that page is the Pink Floyd reunion!
    That would be AWESOME!
hahaha. I saw that too and thought someone would comment. My older brother would be stoked.

Between PJ, Coldplay and DMB (I'm the ultimate hipster) I'm going to be broke once again next summer.

No hipster listens to any of these bands.

If it was Bon Iver, We Were Promised Jetpacks, and LCD Soundsystem then you would be the Ultimate hipster ;)

I really do hope they tour the south next year for the south fans.

+1 I don't know why the Northeast has to have all the fun all the time, all I know is that they're probably coming to Boston b/c it's an even numbered year so I'm stoked.
