For the ladies

Ladies - I think we need to populate this thread with some heart felt messages to Ten Club about the lack of Pearl Jam apparel for women. We all know the fan base is easily 40% female, so why is it so hard to show our love for the greatest band on the planet!??

c'mon C10 - let's see some ladies sizing on the site for all these groovy t shirt designs. Nice quality tees to show off our curves and our fantastic taste in music!

Girls - are you with me on this????

I'm not a girl but I'm with you, because I love girls, expecially those that love Pearl Jam :D

    I am all for this.

The best option I have with the current choices is a men's medium, which fits where ladies need a shirt to fit, but then drapes the rest of the top half of the hourglass.

I might as well wear a moo moo
  • I know this sounds crazy but when I saw them two weeks ago in Brasil there were more girls than guys at the shows.

I hear you, the Matt Cameron drum kit tee sold out in ladies sizes before they even started shipping! I love my Foo Fighter and Tragically Hip concert T's..... but my PJ t shirt it literally pj's, I sleep in it cuz it just don't flatter....

Anyone know who to send a few designs and thoughts to?

  • Hell yes - There was one womens' tee a few years ago - mint green with the tree logo...great in theory but the fit was a cruel joke.

There used to be a girl on Ebay that took mens concert shirts and reworked them into halter tops and sleeveless corsets - still kicking myself that I never bought one.

I suggest fitted through the waist, LONGER with maybe a slash or scoop neck??? And run it for all the old styles too not just the new stuff!

    uh, thanks for listening :)

BTW I received my zombie shirt on thursday.

It fits OK, no more. a little baggy under my boobs, as usual, (and a dround-neck as usual, damn it!) but the rest should be ok for the next 4 times i'll wear it. :?

  • Agree! Men's t-shirts just don't fit womens curves properly

perhaps we should post pics of our curves...on second thought, that might lock the thread ;)

Or they just need more women working with them for them to understand that we need more lady friendly clothing. Yeah...guys shirts are comfy....but there is nothing flattering about them for us.
  • i love the fact that there are girls who like this band that can fit into clothing tailored for women.

    you have my support
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status
  • Well, I see yet another thread on the board - ladies begging for a stylin' tee.... it may take an email campaign to whoever takes care of marketing for C10.

I can't think of many things I'd rather find in my Christmas stocking than a PJ tee made just for me (except maybe Eddie himself....)

and thank you to those who sent me personal messages with links to PJ t shirts - appreciated! But I'd really like to see some official tour t shirts in women's sizing - and designed to fit....

I'll be starting a new post for the email attack just as soon as I track that marketing dude down - his girlfriend is obviously not a fan....

Agreed, you ladies need some PJ merch tailored to you. Damn near every other band does it and half the time, the ladies tees are the better designs. Lets get the ladies some gear 10C!
