This is getting out of hand ...
no place in my house is safe.

MY vinyl is burried behind a chair, an ottoman, a guitar stand, and an amplifier.

One of my two dogs (the only *real* dog, ie. not a little piece of shit, but a big piece of shit) pushed part of my barricade aside the other day and got at the following:

1. Daughter - UK Picture Sleeve 12"
The entire corner of the sleeve has been chewed off

2. The Who - Phases - Box Set ... ripped "The Who" off the spine

3. Live On Two Legs - the tiniest of nibbles on the top corner of the spine

4. Benaroya Hall - same as L02L looks like these two probably got damaged in the thrill of taking out the Daughter record, which they seemed to be after for the plastic sleeve. :(

A few weeks ago they had already taken out my "Janis Joplin - Live" LP, and COMPLETELY destroyed a reissue of Velvet Underground & Nico -- I mean ripped the sleeve in pieces, and the record was on the floor beyond recognition.

:(

This is getting out of control.

Gemm is telling me that my daughter vinyl was a good bit more expensive than i was hoping,
and lord only knows about The Who - Phases ... i can't bring myself to look.

:(

:( :( :(
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

So, I feel your pain.. but, I'm sorry, it's completely your fault.. you have two dogs and keep the vinyl on the floor? :| and you say it's not the first time, so.. I understand that you may not have too much space to keep your records safe, but you could just buy a strong box made of wood and put your stuff in it... I doubt dogs know how to open a box..

    both near 1.5.

The one in question, I rescued from a work associate who abused him (he runs like hell if he sees you take off your belt, getting undressed) ... and they both have SEVERE seperation anxiety. (the other one was returned to the pound twice) ... they seem to feed off eachothers nervous energy ...

... that and now my vinyl, apparently.
I thought i was sad ten years ago when an old cat of my tore up Fables of the Reconstruction and Gish.
But this makes me more sad-er-er.
    Particularly the Who boxset.
    doh.

years ago one of my daughters got hold of my no code cd and seperated the cover into 2 halfs, and ripped the half the front cover off. never did replace it yet.

Yea, I think you need the Dog Whisperer!

    That really sucks

Can you put them in a place the doggies can't get to? Like in a separate room which you never leave the door open to?

Should of thought about that before u bought two dogs. With that mouth u better hope the dog does not bite your face off
  • can you blame the dogs? sounds like they like quality music :D
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
  • couldn't you just store your records high on a shelf somewhere?
  • ill take the damaged benny set off your hands...must be awful to look at in that condition...thanks! :P
I shit and I stink, I'm real, join the club...
