10 Club Renewal Question

Didn't there used to be different items in the Goods....one for a new membership and then a separate one for renewals?

I only see the Digital, Analog (US), and Analog (INT)....I'm just trying to prevent myself from buying a new membership and not just a renewal

    as long as its within the grace period, then it would just add a year to your current membership.

    Strange, after reading this thread I decided to add another year onto my membership. When I tried to click the buy button, I was greeted with this error:
    Your cart was not updated because ANALOG TENCLUB MEMBERSHIP- INT (XL) is restricted
    ANALOG TENCLUB MEMBERSHIP- INT (XL) is restricted because of a previous purchase

    Do we have to wait to expire in order to renew now? What gives?

    As long as you're close to the deadline, it shouldn't be a problem to renew...

    If you e-mail the "info people", they're usually good at taking care of stuff like this.

    Funny, haven't seen that message and I have been renewing for 12 years!!!

    Just make sure you are logged in to the site with your 10c membership account and you'll be fine.

    With the new membership tiers, they stopped allowing people to purchase multiple years at a time.

    Did this ever get resolved.

    I get the same error:


    I'm trying to renew my International Analogue Membership:
    MEMBERSHIP INFO
    Your membership expired on Nov 19, 2011.
    Your member number is ******.
    If you purchase a membership by Feb 19, 2012, you will retain your current member number

    However, when I go to the "Memberships" page and select:
    ANALOG TENCLUB MEMBERSHIP- INT

    And choose the XL size and click on "buy" I receive the following message:
    Your cart was not updated because ANALOG TENCLUB MEMBERSHIP- INT (XL) is restricted
    ANALOG TENCLUB MEMBERSHIP- INT (XL) is restricted because of a previous purchase

    What gives?

    I'm having the same issue, I would like to renew now but I don't expire until January.

    Same issue here.. any news on this? My membership expires in 3 days and it won't let me renew.

    When I asked 10c, this is what they told me:

    "Due to your late November 2010 having been made in January of 2011, the system will not allow you to purchase a second membership in 2011.

    We can fix this manually, however we will need your credit card number, expiration date, 3 digit security code, for the Digital Renewal
    and your t-shirt size if you would like the Analog Level.

    You can email, fax or call in this info.

    Otherwise you can wait until closer to the end of the year when the new membership options are available. Just know that when you are in your Grace Period, you are not technically a Member."


    nice little jab at the end there. Also, this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

    I was at somewhere near that point in my membership period as well last month. I don't know if it'll help, but I found that on my third or fourth try of adding the membership to my cart, I no longer got that error message.

    Thanks gang...I renewed yesterday without any problems

    Also, might be worth noting....the iambroke discount code worked on the membership renewal so it was $16 as opposed to $20....had I realized that before hand I would have gone Analog for $32

    It specifically said that it excluded memberships, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was corrected.

    Just got off the phone and informed me they put up the new 2012 memberships last night and I was able renew just now. Just in time by the sounds of it.

    Thanks for the heads up! I was able to renew and only be expired for 2 weeks. Much better than waiting until Jan/Feb.

    Correct me if I am wrong or if this has another thread already but After checking the 10c membership benefits, I noticed that the Free T Shirt is gone and is replaced by: Limited Edition Annual Merchandise Item.

    I wonder what it will be? Can't wait for people to start complaining about how there isn't a shirt, especially after complaining about how bad the shirt was! :D I liked the ideas of shirts each year, but hopefully it'll be something cool. Luckily I don't have to renew until later next year so I'll know before renewing what the merch is.

    Yeah, this will be a surprise for at least the first few months of 2012.
    People can now start a thread asking to re-stock a now classic and really limited edition Analog Shirt. :D
