For the record I am against anyone buying merch for the sole purpose of " flipping " it for a profit , but if I purchase something from the tenclub it then should be my property , no ? Why should I be scrutinized if I decide to sell something to someone who is willing to pay for it ? Like I said on one of the locked thread's if I can make 8 times my money - why not ? Especially when ten-club is selling anything they can to make a buck .
I spent a lot of money supporting this band the last couple of tours and it kind of pisses me off how eliteist some people act .

    There is a good discussion to be had regarding what is flipping, what is not flipping, and especially how the recent number of limited edition releases encourages the practice. Not sure why the threads are being locked.

    At the end of the day this is the Ten Club's forum, and if they don't want it used to promote the flipping of their items..... fair enough

    So...this'll get locked, too.

    Flipping something as coveted as this DVD set is pretty entrepreneurial. Some people missed the boat and feel like they can't live without this set... so they're driving up the prices on eBay.

    I long for the day that the back-and-forth over this DVD set ends... The demand will drop, as will the price. Pretty soon you'll see them sold for a song. If you have this DVD and you're flipping it... more power to you, I guess.

    And for the record I hope they re-release the Blu-ray and everyone gets to own it , that would make it much easier not to want to sell the one I have . lol

    Very true. But, at the same time, 10C is fooling themselves if they think that making all of these releases limited edition, one right after another, is not the root cause of this recent barrage of "flipping".

    I happen to agree with you, but I can also see that they don't want the forum to become a place where people flip their goods, or defend what they see as flipping

    Folks, not sure why you are wasting time discussing things that the 10c doesn't want you to discuss. This isn't the forum for thaose types of discussions, as the petition has clearly shown despite 400+ signatures...

    These things are not up for debate. Contact the Ten Club if you want to let them know what changes you want to make to their rules. Thank you.

    We have a thread to petition for a new release of the item. It's ok to petition.
