What ever happened to the idea of a Pearl Guitar Hero?

I remember seeing that PJ was going to have a Guitar Hero with all live songs a few years back.

Anyone know what happened to it? X-mas is right around the corner :D

    i know, because i wanted to buy rock band, but held out incase the pj one surfaced, and to see if it came out on wii, or i might've had to buy an xbox or ps3...

    needless to say, i gave up hope.

    Green Day's own game sold bad. The entire musicgame scene had reached its end. It was the end of that era and the Pearl Jam game came at a bad time. It was not PJ who cancelled the game, but Harmonix.

    We got backspacer rockband instead...i bought it, thinking it might be worth something one day...i think i was wrong lol. I haven't opened it. still has the wrapping and everything still on it.

    I'd love to see that game come to life, but I prefer Guitar Hero over Rock Band. I bought Telephantasm on GH and the songs were pretty fun to play!

    Let's hope this game appear some time in the future!

    wasn't it Pearl Jam rockband? I Hope they at least release a few more albums for rockband dlc

    There was a thread on here about 5 or 6 weeks ago about this topic.

    Apparently, some rock band nerds found links on the rock band website to about 20 live Pearl Jam songs. And also apparently this is somewhat common and whenever these songs are found, they are released weeks or months later.

    So, it appears that these songs will see the light of day. What we don't know is if they will be downloadable content or if they will form an actual disc/game.

    My daughter wanted to get Rock Band for her 10th b-day last month so it was the perfect gift since I've been wanting to play PJ songs on the system for the wii. :lol: All I had to do was get RockBand 3 so I could get the downloadable content. Backspacer and Ten are currently available to purchase (roughly $18 per album) and 3 'bonus tracks' for 200 wii points each. We bought the Backspacer album last night actually...so much fun!! The only problem is you can't play the keyboards with the PJ songs...maybe the keyboard wasn't introduced until after the songs were created. None the less...great way to spend time with family and friends!! 8-)

    yeah, the keyboard didn't come out until RB3. The DLC for Ten and Backspacer were out when RB2 was out
