So Parks and Rec star Chris Pratt was interviewed regarding his favorite music. I got a little kick out of the PJ mention in the music that his parents wouldn't let him listen to:

Growing up, did your parents object to anything you were listening to?
Everything. We got a Run-DMC record, and my dad threw it away when he found out they swore. It was like, "You can't listen to Pearl Jam, they're satanic." What? "They smoke pot." Well, they probably do.

Thanks for posting, I probably would have missed it entirely.

I adore Chris Pratt. "Parks and Rec" is one of the funniest shows on TV, and he was excellent in "Moneyball."
  • there was an episode where Chris Pratt's character talks about the shirt he wore when he tackled Eddie Vedder, calling it "a priceless artifact"...thought that was funny, I could totally imagine his character enthusiastically tackling EV.

    That was hilarious!

EV was also mentioned on this week's episode! It wasn't in the version that aired on TV, but Hulu.com (and probably NBC.com) have an extended Producer's Cut of the episode "End of the World". His character Andy is trying to cross things off his bucket list and while he's reading it he says "this would be awesome, but it's impossible... I would need Eddie Vedder and a time machine."

That's seriously the only ep I've ever seen of that show... That part cracked me up!
