Hey all, my favorite radio station had this topic of a top 20 list of all time and it got me thinking about what Jeff's best are.

Personally I feel like Hail Hail and In Hiding are two of his best. So, I am at work and can't focus on the music right now, but I would love some bored board members to throw out suggestions of his best studio bass work!

I think he was probably best on No Code and Yield records.

Thanks all!

Sweet timing, I was just yesterday listening to In Hiding and when Jeff comes in I thought 'that is my favorite bass line in a PJ song!'

In a related note, the bass line intro to 'Would?' by Mike Starr is my favorite of all time for not the talent or anything like that (I am a Wooten/Bootsy/Claypool fan) but because the first time I saw AIC that bass line kicked off the concert...and the fucking push from the crowd behind us when the bass line dropped was staggering. I literally had no control throughout their whole set. Where the crowd went, I went. I get chills every time I hear that. RIP Mike!

Speaking of Just Breathe...does anyone know where I could find Bass tabs for the song? I tried Google and only found guitar ones.

Didn't Stone play bass on No Way, or am I confusing it with another song?

I feel like I hadn't heard it until a few months ago either. I'm still not totally sure that No Way is the song I'm thinking of, or if it was even verified. Maybe someone here knows...

I can't find where I thought I'd read that information, so maybe I'm just imagining things. I know Stone played on Smile, but honestly thought I'd read he played on No Way too. Oh well...

The bass is pretty prominent in the second verse. My friend plays bass, and I wanted him to play along to the song while I played guitar, but he said he couldn't find anything for bass tabs, so I looked and confirmed that he was right.

So does anyone know it? I guess I could try watching live concert videos until I get it down.
