carpool/rideshare NYC -> Hartford/Mansfield II

Looking for people who have/need a ride from NYC (staying in downtown Brooklyn) to the Hartford and second Mansfield shows..

Either someone who is driving and has room to accommodate a couple of students (me and a friend) who would be more than happy to pitch in on gas, booze, etc.

and/or

People who need a ride and would be willing to contribute to renting a car and splitting the cost equally (would be returning to NYC after each show).

    If you're stuck, taking a train is an easy option too. I don't need a ride as I'm staying with my dad in Weston, CT (and just going to Hartford) but Amtrak is pretty decent; I've used it before and it doesn't entirely break the bank. I see you're a student too -- Do you have an ISIC card? You can use it for discount tickets like with VIA Rail up here. If you don't have one, disregard that last part, but it helps cut down on cost.

    So...good luck finding a way back, if you want to go on Amtrak to the show.


    I thought of that as an option, but the schedule stops at 6 o'clock, going back south. (I stop at New Haven)

    Car will be the way to go.

    Oops, didn't even notice that. I didn't look to see how late the train stopped since we're staying in a hotel that night. Sorry for bad advice, haha.

    Not sure if this will help you or not.

    I can give you a ride from Hartford to Mansfield. But I won't have my car in NYC though; I'm taking the train into Grand Central and back home...but will be driving through CT-MA shows.

    Hey, I'll be hitting Hartford and then both Mansfield shows. I'm still trying to figure out IF I'm going to drive my car to Hartford, or hitch a ride there and then to Mansfield shows. Who's staying in Hartford and then going to Mansfield and then staying htere til Monday (or Tuesday, for that matter?!) I'd love to find a group that's cool to stick with and hang out...let me know!
