Just the lower half seating wise...it's now stadium seating
All the hallways have tripled in size
    Ton of new food
Their is also a party section on top of the blue seats...pretty cool up there ..you don't need a ticket in that section to get in,but their is actually ticketed seats up there..

Another 2 seasons of work to be done
The catwalk across the ice is gonna be wild..you can walk and stand above the ice during the game..obviously it will be all glassed in
The new scoreboard will be sick also

Should be wild when it's all done in 2013

BUZZ: Marc Staal Is Going On Long Term IR

by Adam Rotter on November 4th, 2011 at 7:19 am

According to Larry Brooks in the NY Post, the Rangers plan to place Marc Staal on Long Term Injury Reserved.

The team will get as close to the salary cap as they can, with moves like registering the contract of Anton Stralman and calling up Mats Zuccarello, to reap the most benefits of placing Staal on LTIR.

    Brooks says:

But because teams only gain the difference between a player’s cap hit and the amount of cap space available at the time the athlete goes on LTI, the Rangers have yet to make the move with Staal because they haven’t been close enough to the ceiling.

It is the right move to place him on LTIR to try and get as much cap space as they can to replace him. This is what they talked about doing with Chris Drury before he was bought out.

and thus OUR SEASON IS PRETTY FUCKED....

i don't think Staal makes that much of a difference really, Lunqvist gives you guys a chance to win every night, you just need dubinsky, stepan, boye and others to score more goals imo.
