            What a fucking game. Seriously.
It's pretty impossible to truly determine which Game 6s in the history of the WS are the "greatest ever"; each game is going to mean a hell of a lot more for fans from a given area. Personally, Game 6 of the 1991 WS and Kirby Puckett's heroics will ALWAYS be tops for me, but I'm also a die-hard Twins fan.
Suffice it to say though, I think St. Louis fans just got their moment. 20 years from now (if the Cards win tomorrow night), I'm positive St. Louis fans will not remember what an atrociously sloppy game this was; they will remember Freese's moment(s) like I remember Kirby's.
No matter what, its been a great, dramatic and entertaining WS. I hate to sound like a sportscaster, but if you're a sports fan, you're probably going to be taking in Game 7 tomorrow night. Can't wait!1998-06-30 Minneapolis

well put man. I am excited for tomorrow night. game 7 of the WS doesn't come around too often, so it will be historic regardless of what happens.
Freese has been money in the playoffs. any team that wins it all needs a guy like that to win it all. is matt harrison gonna have his moment tomorrow?? I doubt it, but I'll be pulling for him since I despise everything about the cardinals, except lance berkman.0

 I still haven't gotten over that 2001 game 7 and it's been 10 years.SVRDhand13 wrote:SatansFuton wrote:Davidtrios wrote:
 interesting point
btw, was this the greatest baseball game of all time?
It's one of the best I can remember. I have seen some that were similar, but not in a World Series.
Twins/Braves 91 and Yanks/D'Backs 01 are better IMO. (the clinching games)
I know it's bias of me to say, but 2003 ALCS game 7 between the Yankees and Red Sox is the best game I've ever seen and one of the best games of all-time.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Watching Sportscenter now and they were talking about Game 6's in the World Series and how those are always the most memorable one's. They showed clips of 1975, 1986, 1991, and 1993, along with last night's game. I ask you: which game 6 is the most memorable? My pick would go to 1986.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford
