    texas hasnt won in their 40 yr existence...that's half a lifetime if you are lucky...those patient fans deserve it more than anyone

    I've spent a lot of time in the Rangers ballpark in my 31 years of life. And until last season most of them were wearing the gear of the other teams. There are some fans, I know 2, Flagg is one, so I would be happy for them if Texas wins, but the Rangers don't have a good fan base.

    The good thing for Texas fans though, is that after games like this that would knock the wind out of most teams, the Rangers seem to play better. After the Rays beat them 9-0 in game one of that series the Rangers beat the hell out of them. After Game 3 of this series with Pujols made them look silly, Texas came back and won 2 in a row. They don't get rattled.

    It's one of the best I can remember. I have seen some that were similar, but not in a World Series.

    Twins/Braves 91 and Yanks/D'Backs 01 are better IMO. (the clinching games)
