I would travel as far as monetarily justifiable to see PJ...
Not sure how many states...15?
What is the one contiguous state you would like to travel to but haven't yet?MLMF Det0 -
Well, I've been to all the states that border PA (where I live), but if I can include the 48 contiguous US states, then Washington is next on my list!

I have a quick and easy apple dumpling recipe!
Do you want it?Show #13 was a lucky one for me....0 -
ooohhh! yes!
Can I bake it in a toaster/convection oven? (teh oven broke and Mr. RK bought me a toaster/convection oven to replace it :x )The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

You might be able to do it in a toaster over...but it may be tricky...here it is:
Mountain Dew Dumplings:
Ingredients
2 (8 count) cans crescent rolls
3 -4 tart apples
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (12 ounce) cans Mountain Dew soda
Directions
Spray a 13x9 baking dish or pan.
Peel and slice apples into 16 pieces.
Roll each apple slice in 1 section of crescent roll.
Place rolled slices in pan in two rows, put extras along side.
Melt butter, add sugar and cinnamon and pour over apples.
Pour can of Mountain Dew over all.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
Doesn't Mr. RKCNDY know that a toaster oven doesn't replace a regular oven? :?Show #13 was a lucky one for me....0 -

Thanks! I will have to try this!
and no, Mr. RK has a 'man brain' so what he thinks can 'work for now' apparently cannot comprehend that 'it is NOT a replacement'. He figures "It has a 'toast' and a 'convection bake' feature on it...the temp settings are just like on a regular oven...so it's teh same thing" the dishwasher broke a year and a half ago....guess who has dishpan hands?
