    Been a LONG time since I have spoken here. (Long story, people hurt my feelings, I felt unwelcome, blah, blah, blah) I just wanted to pop in and say something about the PBS showing of PJ20.

    Where to begin. I raised my daughters listening to this music. I am so proud that they know all the words to almost every song.

    I miss the band. I have seen them only 3 times live...2 of those shows I was someone's guest because I am dirt poor. I want everyone to thank God or whom/what ever higher power you choose, or do not choose, or Karma or what-have-you...that you have the chance to see these guys.

    I want to thank Pearl Jam publicly (Yes, I am aware they NEVER come here and read any posts.) for 20 years of great music. It has truly been a soundtrack to my life. And a public thank you to Cameron Crowe.

    This is funny that you posted this, because my brother just put it on his fb post where he linked the show for tonight. He wasn't really a fan, but about 1/2 through the movie he's calling everyone to make sure I'm watching it and he just emailed me that now he wants me to put all the albums on his phone, and he has an "appreciation" for them now.

    Loved seeing it again last night on PBS.

    New favorite moment was Jeff's reaction to the booing for Bushleaguer. The look on his face was priceless :)

    I love the part where Chris and Eddie are kind of pseudo-wrestling and Eddie is hanging around Chris' shoulders and they're both trying to sing Hunger Strike. :lol:

    Yes. I'm surprised they didn't realize that it would have the affect of making a lot of people want to see them right after it aired.

    I imagine even non-fans that saw the movie on PBS are probably a bit intrigued now!! :)

    Hell yeah I'm in! How long would it take by boat though? It's a 3 day 15 our 7,853 km drive down from Halifax to Costa Rica. And that's the 2nd last show of the tour next month. We are gonna need some powerful arms to row our butts down there in time for a few show's.
