Nice setlist.
I've noticed a pattern with PJ that songs they soundcheck very often make their way into sets a couple of shows later.
They soundchecked Nothingman and Leatherman at Pistoia :cool:20/04/06 ~ 23/08/06 ~ 09/09/06

Yeah I mean I was sure that Stone would sing on the Italy leg but no! I think Ed wouldn't let him. Would take the spotlight away from him, that's my theory :cool:20/04/06 ~ 23/08/06 ~ 09/09/06

6 out of 7, actually. If we're dealing them all in, am I the only one going to count "Small Town" as part of the "Man" songs? It was played in the set, but not with the rest (ladies first, gents). You know, for every five songs they write about 'man', they crank out one for 'woman'. Dig it or get out of my trunk.
And isn't 5-chapters a pentalogu? Quintrology isn't in my official Scrabble Dictionary.
It is good to see "Nothingman", "Leatherman"(!), and "Alone" in the setlist.
It would be nice to hear the band cut "Sometimes" again before the year ends. The band's playing it at a rate of once every year since 2003 (when they only played it four times during their world tour). No need to open with it, just throw it in an encore. That's neglection, pure and simple. Can't do that.
I'm tired of people who treat it like the "Cousin Oliver" on the set-lists. The song is not cursed. It's my favorite, don't let it fall into obscurity like "Who You Are", because it doesn't deserve THAT horrid a fate. Just throwing it out there, guys. Sometime before X-mas, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
WE DESERVE IT AFTER SAN FRANCISCO NIGHT #2!!!0
