PJ and the Spectrum never again?

Don't know if this has been mentioned here (searched but didn't see anything about it) but talk is that the Spectrum in Philly may be torn down in the near future. Comcast Spectacor is looking at developing the area around the sports complex and one of the proposals is the tear the Spectrum down. If this is true I'd love to see PJ do one last show there - best PJ show I've ever seen was there (4/28/03). Just thought it was worth mentioning.

THEY HAVE TO PLAY AT LEAST ONE MORE TIME BEFORE THIS HAPPENS!! oh no :(

I agree, philly shows were amazing... the wachovia show was so good .. Ed mentioned that it wasnt quite the spectrum but it was nice.... they were so balls to the wall that night....

I would think that if they do knock the Spectrum down, the hotel which is built will have a venue for small shows and whatnot... similar to the Borgata venue. I just don't see Comcast being shortsighted enough to knock down a viable 365 day a year venue and not replacing it with something which would still be attractive to entertainers.

yeah, they need to do more philly shows... maybe 3 more in boston too...
I'm sick of them always touring the south, who likes warm weather, hot women, and the ocean anyway?

unfortunately, it will fall, its only a matter of time

but they should require the new developer to open a new "spectrum"
