I have over 100 show from 91 to 10 and my thought is let's try for flac or other good sounding files. I rip the mp3s at good speeds but they never spend as good as the CD versions. I am in no way an audiophiles--- but I notice that things like guitar riffs and cymbals get lost on the mp3s. My issue is I have never figured out anything hut mp3 but now would be a great time to do so.0

I'm interested in this hard drive idea as long as we aren't breaking 10c rules.
Thanks!
Psst ... I can help you out fellow Canuck.
Though which PJ digital goodies would you like from the 9+ TB's worth of PJ audio / video I have backed up on Western Digitals HD's? hmm ...
Is there ever too much Dem???

Everything I have is .mp3 so the file sizes aren't that large. Hopefully the FTP stays nice and organized, like a root folder for each year, and then each show in order inside of that. That's how I set up my own personal folder at least.
yea the file structure will be something like 3 folders, Audio, Video and Bulk Upload. so people can upload alot of stuff at once without worrying about file structure in the Bulk folder. then the sub folders will be the 4 digit year, then the sub of those will be 4 digit date code followed by city (1028 - Seattle, WA) something like that, im open to suggestions

I'm confused. Are we creating a website, or is someone to create the hard drive, and then start spreading copies?
I'm happy to be a branch and start copying/sending out hard drives. Just need someone to make the first one.0 -
just found the hard drive everything from 90-03 is still on it! actually part of 03 is on it... i have 03-06 backed up onto blank dvds. 03, and 04 are shin/flac, 05s are mp3s from basecamp, 06 are flac i beleive. whatever 07s i have are fan recordings... and everthing from 08-10 is on cd from kufala.
obviously the 90-03s vary in quality, all 00s and 03s are official boots. everything before are either soundboard, fm radio broadcasts, or fan recordingsit's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...0 -
Do you guys think the audio format should be mp3? FLAC is awesome but will it be too big for what we are trying to do? If anyone uploads FLAC i have no problem encoding them to mp3. Currently the site will be 2tb but I have no problem adding drives if this thing takes off. I got the server setup just having a few issues with my firewall but i will have the details up today ( I know i said last night sorry )0

If it isn't a new item and/or currently available in the Ten Club store or currently available elsewhere, it hasn't been a problem for trading with each other. Mass distribution over the internet was never the intent though. The older material no longer for sale anywhere is not a problem, trader to trader. Thank you.Falling down,...not staying down0 -

Is this something where we upload to and then send our hard drives and you transfer for us? Or is this a site we can upload to as well as download from?
Thanks.0 -
