What are some of Ed's (or other members) jokes or clever lines that were delivered on stage? Thought this could make a good thread.

    My cousin and I went to the EV Solo show in Long Beach this summer, while on stage Eddie had a clear party cup with some kind of "red drink." We imagined he'd have his standard bottle of wine, so at a quiet moment in between songs, my cousin yelled, "What's in the cup?!?"

    EV: "Not enough."

    Those two words had everyone laughing, great night!

    Hamilton 2005 - the whole "Let Stone Sing" segment. Ed saying he "shan't" sign and saying that Stone was waiting for a worthy audience. Then, Stone did the funny dance a few moments later during the bit.

    Eddie in St.John's said he dosent write songs when stoned because when he is stoned he usually ends up painting with grape juice and a tooth brush or vacuming haha

    I think I saw a clip where Eddie was talking about being with Mike's mom...maybe it was a boot. All I do remember was it was pretty brutal but hilarious at the same time. :lol:

    I think Ed's joke was probably maat your cousin's expense. It's obvious at the solo shows he hates people yelling from the crowd (see the whole "Thieves of Silence" thing from the 2008 DC show).

    He probably meant "not enough" to deal with people yelling from the crowd.
