    I watched the second half with the same morbid fascination of seeing a bad car wreck on the side of the road. Unbelievable that they didn't score in the paint until 13 minute into the 2nd half! Butler is lucky they didn't lose by 50.

    Too bad. Doesn't make any sense as they were getting open shots.

    as much as i dislike Calhoun got to give them a lot of credit. 5 games in 5 days in the Big East tourny then still have enough in the tank to win 6 in the NCAA tourny. just an awesome run they had. Walker just an absolute beast.

    saw this but to me the video shows the Chinese players are way more out of control than the Georgetown players. Chinese guys were picking up chairs and shit and that one guy was stomping the dude from Georgetown. pretty scary seeing the video of it - if the stands had been more packed that could have been nuts.

    Parrish is ok...not the best, but certainly not the worst college bball writer.

    I'm inclined to believe that those rankings are his final rankings from last year. There are too many teams on that list that lost important players for that to be current (San Diego St, BYU, VCU, Butler). Plus, some of his latest blogs make me think he's going to put UNC and Kentucky in the top 2 spots.

    As for AP and coach polls, I think they come out the first or second week of November.

    After I posted the link I wondered if it was an old poll, but it had 10/12/11 on it. I thought some of those teams were a little high, too.

    Yeah, the timestamp on it confused me too, but I think that's when the poll is being accessed by the user because it has today's date on it now.

    No problem. Just keep in mind that this is just one sportswriter's opinion, although I think those three will be highly ranked when the real polls come out next month.

    No problem. Just keep in mind that this is just one sportswriter's opinion, although I think those three will be highly ranked when the real polls come out next month.
