really? that makes you laugh?
I didn't think it was bad, but I didn't think it was THAT great either. I don't really understand the hype it's received over the years. I don't mind strange/quirky movies, but I also think it's kind of lame when a movie tries WAY too hard to be strange and quirky, and really doesn't do much else. As if just being off-beat is enough for it to be funny.
i think people think too much... plus it's art... why is your opinion right??
just watch it
if you find it stupid... move on
if you think it's flippin hilarious... then enjoy

There's just so much gold in that movie (IMO of course)! For whatever reason, the opening scene where he ties that little doll to a string and drags it from the bus always has me laughing hysterically. In my circle of friends, other than Seinfeld it's probably one of the most heavily quoted movies/shows.

That goes without saying. There's no arguing with a smoking baby."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -
I saw a movie called "Body Shots" once that I swore was the worst movie ever made. Then i saw "Mission to Mars" with Tim Robbins...when that single teardrop rolled down the Martian's cheek, I busted out laughing right there in the theater.
Then there's "Batman and Robin"...I'd say it was bad, but fell asleep halfway through.
And, at the risk of getting a shitload of hate mail, I'm gonna just say it: "Dirty Dancing" is a terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE movie!!!0 -

After watching "World's Greatest Dad" the other night, I'd like to officially add that to my list. Although seeing Krist Novoselic selling porno mags on the street was mildly amusing.0
