Few rumours circulating that PJ may headline the Big Day Out (Australia's largest summer festival in Jan 2012)

Thoughts ??

I hope not, rather have them on their own tour (which I don't think is due anwyay)

    Well ...any tour to Australia is greatfully accepted and I would go to the shows but the BDO is definately not high on the to do list !

    there have been a couple of threads on this but yeah i definitely agree dont want them on BDO would rather their own shows.... lineup comes out within the next week though i'm pretty sure. 27th of Sept has been thrown around a bit

    Just read this rumour. Totaly agree with you guys as much as I would love Pearl Jam to come back down under I would much prefer they do their own shows with a full two hour plus set instead of the modified 1-1.5hr time slot the Big Day Out gives performers. Can't stand the Big Day Out, so many people there not for the music getting drunk and causing trouble. Horrible festival.

    So looking forward to the Pearl Jam 20 doco tomorrow.

    Pj will not play they have been rumoured every year so far. I would rather see them play another festival

    Regardless of how many bogans go to the Big Day Out each year, surely any appearance by PJ in OZ would be better than none???

    I would be pretty pumped if they were on the lineup, plus i'm sure they would do sideshows as do headliners of every other BDO.

    My second Soundgarden show was Adelaide '97 and yeah the pit was one of those scary things I don't really miss!

    To have only BDO to experience Pearl Jam for the time being would be a bit crap but of course better than nothing.
