    Im fairly certain the price is because of the VIP passes for backstage.

    I've never been before, but I've talked to people who have had those before - rarely do you get to meet the entire band and usually if you meet 1-2 members thats a good night.

    I could be wrong, of course, but I hope they aren't buying these thinking they'll get to hang with the band afterwards.

    On the other hand, that's a lot of money for a great cause so that's a huge positive and I hope the person who bids that much is taken care of for what (i think) is a higher amount than they could've expected. :mrgreen:

    Absolutely - If I had it I'd do it so fast... that COULD be a once in a lifetime experience and in the end it benefits a great cause. Nothing wrong with that at all!

    I went back to the VIP party at EV solo in NYC. He was not there at all, staying upstairs in his rooms with friends and family I guess...great to hang out with Glen though :D I did see Ed walking out after I left and got chatting to some people waiting to see him. :D
    It might be different with the whole band....great way to help a good cause though!

    To some people, great value is placed on the act of giving, and not just getting to experience the concert, etc.

    And don't forget the tax deduction as well! :)

    Easily worth it for this band only, and maybe The Pussycat Dolls for different reasons, but that's it. If I had the money and paid ten thousand dollars, Eddie better write a song about me though :D
