Renewing my 10C Membership

Due to several circumstances it is probably no longer possible for me to travel to PJ shows. Life gets in the way and there are several things that are more important. Those of you that know me, know what is up. That is why I wanted to make PJ20 as special and fun as possible and it was. I knew it was probably the last time. So with that in my mind, I figured there was no reason to keep my 10C membership since I wouldn't be using if for the most important benefit: tickets.

Tomorrow is my renewal date. I am going to go ahead and renew. I just have faith that they will play a show down here again soon. ACL was a complete success, drawing huge crowds for PJ. Both local showings of the PJ20 movie sold out very quickly. The plane too and from Alpine was loaded with PJ fans from here. The tailgate showed me there are a lot of other fans down here.

Also, that weekend renewed my love for this band. I have been pretty down on them the past couple of years, pretty disappointed by some of their touring decisions. But I had the best time I have ever had at a PJ show over Labor Day and I could not have cared less where my seats were or what state I was in at the time. I really, really needed that. I've been listening to YIELD a lot in light of things going on. Also Backspacer and trying to remember to Just Breathe and take things one day at a time. And I find that even when I am not happy with them sometimes, they make me happy anyway.

Anyway, I know this was a lot of rambling but I am renewing because I am "Faithful" after all. Thanks guys.

    There's so much more to it that the tickets benefits. And you'll need those benefits for the next southern shows ;) Here's hoping you'll get them soon !

    Since 07...
    I have used my 10club membership to purchase 3 sets of tickets.....One set that is still sitting at the window in New York.........

    The ONLY reason I renew is to talk to everyone on this board.....

    And that makes me a sick fuck.....heheheheh
    Take me piece by piece.....
    Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

    My sister has never used her membership for tickets...low seniority...she doesn't want to be stuck on the floor straining to see...I think she just likes being part of the 10 club community.

    Glad you're sticking around Brian. Labor day was a blast up there and my energy and excitement for PJ is at a high as well. I'll see you at the movie on Tuesday night I'm sure and we'll trade stories about PJ20 and dream of a Dallas show coming next year!
