poem: run towards water (part I)

run with me and pale rabbit
as eagles to ourselves
and a mirror

beside the lake
we will see
will feel we as if

going...carrying ours
to baby river
and happy hot sun
turtle and dove are there
they will dance next to us

crow will represent rock
and pure darkness
from raven eyes
and as solid

to the sand
we will roll toward water
combing all time as one

one fruit tree
one love
one night is never enough
one kiss
lasting through night hours
not to stop
then this is one now

authorize with me would you?
take the doe..spotted to this world
dark to another
the hunter

please be inclined to last with me
this extraction
from what is beyond
where outermost is innermost
leaving behind everything we do not

    When I was in the States this summer I was reading some Native American writing and poetry - and this reminds me of some of that. Very primal, elemental, taking its life from nature. You seem on top form currently Chadwick

    that is exactly what i was writing in style of. i am pleased you have caught that. i admire the first nation's people of this land. they inspire me deeply. i love them.
