What Can I Do? 10 Club Related

......long story, short version. I was set to go to Winnipeg for the gig Saturday from Chicago. However, much larger life situations occurred---my mom was diagnosed w/ pancreatic cancer last Thursday and is receiving treatment at The University of Chicago. I could care less about having to now eat the tix but wish another member could have access to my 10 club seats. I am happy to be with my mom but do you think the 10 club could make any bends to their policies in a situation like this? Having my money back would be great too....but more than anything just wish I could transfer to another member.....and i know people need them.

    yea i wish they would address this issue i had a friend pass away b4 the ev solo show in detroit.
    couldn't make it just had to eat the money and the tickets.
    there has to be something they can do to fix this it makes no sense.
    if it dont hurt enough with whats happened, knowing there are two empty seats that could be had at a freaking
    show makes it worse.
    some type of way, donating the tickets at the pre party might be our only hope.

    This is a great idea, but it's also the problem. OP is in Chicago, show is in Winnipeg....only the 10C member can pick up the tickets, so how is OP supposed to get them to the pre-party? TenClub definitely needs to address this issue and have some sort of policy for emergencies such as this.

    Sorry to hear that Sawyer. My Grandma is also battling cancer and receiving treatment at the University of Chicago. Some of the best doctors in the world over there...hopefully things work out for both of them. :D

    I'd call 10c...they may help you out in a situation like this. Good luck!

    first- my best to your Mother and family on what will be a hard time for everyone.

    email the tenclub ticket email, and try to get in touch with a wishlist person they may be able to pull some strings to get the tickets without you being there and you could donate the tickets to their preparty fundraiser.

    simple....10c need to revisit the transfer policy...

    and here is my plan for the 10th time

    you can give your tickets back to the 10c club...and pay a restocking fee of $20

    10c then has a weekly sale of returned tickets.

    person that buys the tickets either gets that person's seats or they get the worst 10c seats...i'm open to how they allocate the seats....

    i would cut off the restock sale 7-10 days before the show.

    sorry to read about your mother, hope things go well for here, and good for you for being by her side, family comes first.
    hope you get your ticket situation sorted, and i agree with the other person, the 10club should have some rule on their policy for an emergancy like this.. not like you'd be asking for your money back, pretty much just like selling them to another person.
