I do like it but I wouldn't say it's my favorite from RA....what's you favorite PJ song/album???
For me, the Pearl Jam golden age was Vitalogy through Binaural, with a bit extending into Riot Act.
Yield is my all time favorite album, but the number 2 spot varies between Binaural, No Code, and Vitalogy. Right now it's Yield, Binaural, No Code, Vitalogy.
Thanks to nothingman4 for running tonights thread & to shep for relaying the setlist and sharing his show with us!!!
Had a GREAT time following the setlist and hearing about everyone’s FIRST Concerts…
See you tomorrow night for the Hamilton show!!! :ugeek:

I would have thoroughly enjoyed the show had I been there.
Has anyone ever been to a PJ show, one where they didn't overly love the setlist, and thought "meh that was pretty shit"? Imo, even the "not so good" setlists are fucking awesome live. But I've only seen 9 shows over 16 years. Maybe that is why.

I didnt really feel the Ottawa show back in 05, but that was mainly due to my crippling hangover from the Montreal show the previous night.
Saw things so much clearer...Montreal 2000; Montreal 2003; Montreal 2005; Ottawa 2005; Halifax 2005; Mansfield 1 08; Mansfield 2 08

I left Philly 4 2009 thinking "Why did they repeat so many damned songs!?" and "Why were they so drunk most of them sounded like shit?!"

I haven't attended many shows in person, but I own a disgusting number of bootlegs (including all the official ones), and I've never thought that a show was shit, ever. Certainly there are many degrees of awesome, some setlists blow me away and others are "standard", sometimes the playing is sloppier and sometimes its mega-tight. Never is it shit, though. Just me.
Nice set. They played a handful of tunes I was hoping to hear in Hamilton tomorrow..MFC, Low Light, Blood, Breath and Come Back. Happy for Ottawa, very much looking forward to tomorrow.

Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

80 od shows...80 odd great sets in their own right..never ever ever left a show felling let down in the least...
although uniondale 03 was just plain wacky ..but still a great show...they were mega tight in the main set
i post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......
Overall, this was another nice set list for the 2011 tour. On paper, every show has been really solid. You've got to give them credit for mixing things up a bit and playing the usual songs in unusual places. A few rarities to keep it special and you have another solid night.
Still, I'm looking forward to some fan reviews as Ottawa 2005 was an absolutely crazy set and I'm curious to know what folks at the show thought of Ottawa 2011.

Oh. Alright.
Weird ass show period. By and large I love the setlist, nothing except Ledbetter appeared in a typical spot. Hope they keep adding the newer songs.
