Those posters are pictures of Mookie Blaylock with his jersey number changed from 10 to 20 for obvious reasons. The logo is old New Jersey Nets logo (Mookie's old team) reworked to say Pearl Jam. I might be pointing out what most of you already know as it was probably already discussed for the PJ20 poster!.

  • Is there any relationship between the Ottawa basketball poster and the fact that the inventor of Basketball (James Naismith) was born just outside of Ottawa?

and to elaborate even more the posters are supposed to look like early 90's nba hoops basketball cards

Yeah I think it's gotta to be the reason they chose basketball as the theme... I can't think of any other obvious reason to. I guess they wanted to feature Mookie Blaylock again given that it's close to the 20th anniversary, and I guess Ottawa with the connection to basketball you mention, gave them another reason/excuse to go with the theme again. I guess Ottawa has a closer relationship to b-ball because of that than the other Canadian cities on this tour (except possibly Toronto who actually have an NBA team). Perhaps if Mookie had been around long enough to play for the Raptors they might have used Toronto for that poster!
