So....did EV finally stop smoking???
Any show I've seen in the last few tours, he stands off to the side for various songs and has a puff. Only show I've seen so far is Montreal, but was close enough to notice that he didn't have a cig at all through the show.
Positive news if the case!

Agreed. Quitting isn't easy but I hope he did.___________________________________________

He did at pj20 during even flow."Going where the water tastes like wine!"0

He did smoke in Montreal on the right side of the stage during Evenflow I think....
It's his choice.... But I hope it won't affect his voice to much with time because I still plan to be a 10C member in 20 years!

He had a smoke in MTL. Imagine his voice if he quit smoking and drank less...luckily he still sounds great!0

He smoked during Toronto both nights.
I'm not sure he drinks wine in those bottles.
But he was sharing quite a bit with the crowd.
If he doesn't quit smoking he will be a guitar player (only) in 20 years.
The single worst thing he can do to his voice."Honesty will always be construed as negative to a dumbass"

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-120 -
yeah Ed......you should only smoke the "good stuff"!
Cigs will kill ya!0 -
It would be great if everyone that smoked would quit for their personal health. I have a very close friend who after 25 years has quit. He's gone nearly 4 months without a cigarette. I'm very proud of him as it doesn't seem to be very easy. Thank goodness I never started.Soldier Field - Jul 11, 1995, Savage Hall - Sep 22, 1996,

I hadn't smoked a cigarette for two months. Guess when I started again? At PJ20. Sigh.0

It definitely was at Toronto... you could see the bottle when the light hit it and it was definitely the red gatorade type stuff.RedMosquito22 wrote:Tboz51 wrote:I'm not sure he drinks wine in those bottles.

One wine bottle is filled with wine and the second with gatorade. I'd say smoking anything affects your singing ability.0

See that's what I never understood. Why does he feel the need to perp a fraud like that? I don't think anyone really gives a shit what he drinks out of or what's in it....0 -

A fraud? C'mon. A wine bottle looks cooler onstage than would a gatorade bottle. Why is there a backdrop behind Matt? Why are their sometimes rugs down onstage? All shows have props.___________________________________________

I wonder if Mike quit. He had to train pretty seriously for the half marathon, and the way he was running laps around everyone during Spin the Black Cricle at Alpine Valley... he's gotta be in pretty good condition eh?* Oklahoma City Ford Center - Apr 03, 2003
