Whatever they do to choose the "winners".... It's bullshit! I've got 2 friends who've won it twice.0

I have not heard or read of anyone sub 100XXX winning the lotto - maybe because it could make their seats worse if it bumped them to 9/10 when their seniority seat could be 5/6???
I have a nice number so every time I go and get seniority seating, I have won the fucking lottery. I would love to think I can win 1st row...but I am content with the row 5-12 I get being an "old timer". I personally think they don't even consider people below a certain number, if someone can confirm/debunk this theory I would feel better. So does anyone know anyone who has won row 1/2 with a sub 100xxx number?
And thank you ten club for the amazing seats for PJ200 -
I got row 2 in Seattle night 1(09) I was right in front of Eddie0

My friend I went with for Philly2 2009 is around number 67xxx and won 2nd row - up from her usual 4th row so lower fan club numbers have won.- Busted down the pretext

I'm still hoping to win the lottery one day. I get decent seats with my number (198xxx), but I definitely wouldn't complain with 10th row or closer! Keeping my fingers crossed for the Hamilton show!0

Of course its ALL random....
Of course it is......
Saying all seats were randomly selected in these 4 rows....
And than not doing just that...
Would be illegal??? Right???
If not illegal...
IT WOULD BE A FUCKING SHITTY THING TO DO!!!!!!!!
And why would the 10club do something that shitty??????Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0 -

I mean they know how much each of us spend on this site. It's kind of like looking after the people that look after you. All I really buy through the club is tickets so I would assume that my chances would be lowered by that fact. Just my theory.
nah, that theory doesn't hold water either because I have never spent a dime on anything
from the goods section and including last night I have now won the lottery 8 times.
since you need to purchase tickets via the Ten Club to be eligible for the lottery, and you have 0 ticket purchases in your account, I'd venture a guess that you've NOT won the lottery 8 times.
slh
Now this is funny because while I would have surmised that most of the poor shmucks here would
have taken my claim seriously, you of all people Santos would have just laughed it off instead
of stating the obvious.0 -
Here's a brief statistics lesson:
Let's assume that you have a 1 in 40 chance of winning lottery. That would mean 160 rows are 10C tickets, 4 go to lottery winners. And let's assume that each of the 160 rows has 25 seats, which means there are 4000 10C seats, or 2000 pairs. Probably reasonable numbers, right?
In that scenario, you could attend 27 shows and still have better than a 50% chance of not having won the lottery. You could attend 50 shows, and still have a 28% chance of having missed out on the lottery.
Also in this scenario, if the same 2000 10C members got tickets for back to back shows, the odds that at least one member would win the lottery for both nights are nearly 72%.
There may be VIP stuff going on. There may be unscrupulous people working in the venues' ticket offices who manage to do shady things. None of that HAS to be true for people to have the types of anecdotes about not winning, or multiple winners, that they've raised on this thread. All we can do is trust that the band and 10C are good people who want nothing more than to ensure a great show and a great experience for every fan.0 -

there is a 72% change that a single member wins lotto tickets on back to back nights.....not sure i buy into that math81 is now off the air0 -
been to 30 plus shows longtime fan...still waiting for a win...here's to hoping......would gladly accept invitation by one of you lucky fans that have really low 10C number,,,,would be forever indebted....
