I looked into converting money at my bank, and they don't do it...I have to order 'foreign currency' travelers cheques... :evil:The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Just called the Blaine Duty Free shop and I can convert my money there! yay! my 300 american = 277-ish canadian. not sure if there was a fee of some sort in there or not...the boyfriend exchanged some and used the debit card for some, so idk yet how fees will work out for him on that. when i booked the room, it was a 3% charge.
today i get to go to my bank to trade what cash we had left over back. your money is so much prettier!
