Exactly. I'm down with this.0 -
Keep the DH and make the NL get with the times. It's more fun with DH.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Like most of them. Cliffy's a baseball guy.
Astros would have more fun in the AL since they already have a DH in Carlos Lee.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

No, not really. We don't pay guys $10+ mil just to hit. Last time I checked baseball was a two-way game.0 -
You already know it's an out when a pitcher comes to the plate. Ditch the pitcher and get the DH in the NL.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Aren't the nl and legion the only leagues in the world that dont use the dh? The chances of the al changing is less than zero.0

pretty sure legion has the dh. just because they do and other leagues in foreign countries have it doesn't make it right (there's only 2 leagues in the world that really matter anyway)
i don't think anyone expects them to get rid of it. that was just wishful thinking on johnny's part.
but the day the dh comes to the national league will be a very sad day for this sport.www.myspace.com0
