I'm having panic attacks about the LA screening of Pearl Jam Twenty. What is going on? Has anyone heard anything? If I miss the announcement and it sells out, I'll be heartbroken.

Maybe it'll be at Patrick Warburton's house?

Well that would be super convenient because I have a standing invitation at Pat's. But if that's not the case I'd appreciate any other information.

I chose to book at Long Beach because I didnt see anything on the LA one. I coincidentally emailed the theater hosting the viewing on the same day they were going on sale and the manager emailed me back with "go to our site in 10 mins!"
Not sure if they still have tickets left or not, this was a while back.

The 10p Long Beach screening is sold out. Really tough to get to Long Beach at 4:45 on Tuesday or 6:30p on Wednesday, but I guess in the worst case scenario I'll have to take the day off work to drive out there.

Sorry to hear that, I lucked out when I reached out to them right before they went on sale. I did post on this board for anyone that happened to be watching 'Long Beach PJ20 Viewing Tickets On Sale Now' with the link.
It is being held in a tiny spot so I figured it would sell out.

Totally hear you on this fucking traffic we live with. Beautiful weather, awesome entertainment, foods, etc...but holy shit this traffic sucks giant hog.

I started a thread on this yesterday and also emailed 10c at the same time. Haven't heard back. It's just odd that they are leaving it on the web site with all the other screenings but listing it as TBD. There are too many theaters in LA to not have it shown here. I live north of LA so Long Beach is too much of a haul for me on a week night.

I contacted the distribution company begging for information and got just this reply: "The LA dates will be announced soon."

I think it was really nice of them to respond at all, but unfortunately the answer wasn't substantive.

I just read this article that TwoFeetThick had posted.

There will be a one week run in a movie theater in LA TBA... sweet!

Hope it's the Vista in Los Feliz... or at Patrick Warburton's.

I've been searching all local theaters and just found this: http://www.laemmle.com/viewmovie.php?mid=7407

It says it's playing at the Laemmle Sunset 5 but also says opening 9/23/11, not 9/20. Also, tickets are not available to purchase yet.

Thanks for the link. It comforts me to know that there will be a week long run, though of course I'd like to see it on the opening night!

    But what's fancy?
