Let's make a list of best PJ vids on YouTube!

I’m in the same boat as thousands of you others who attended the amazing weekend and now am somewhat depressed that it is over and am not wanting the PJ to end. The fact that we still have the 20 days of PJ, movie, book, and soundtrack underway is definitely helping. I will be attending the movie screening here in Denver, but in the meantime I am really wanting to watch some great PJ performances on YouTube. There is so much out there, and such variation in quality that it’s frustrating not knowing where to find the best videos (in terms of quality or uniqueness of performance).

I would love suggestions of especially great videos that people have found on YouTube. I’m sure there is so much great stuff out there that I have never seen because I don’t know exactly what to search for. If there has already been a list like this created in the Forum of especially great YouTube videos (and maybe even the specific wording to search for in YouTube to get to some of the best ones) then please let me know. I assume that others of you would also love to have this type of list. Thanks in advance!

  • Thanks for link to that previous thread.

One good place to find a collection of high quality videos is by looking through the list of videos uploaded by VideoGremmie. The "PEARL JAM *LUKIN - SLOW VERSION* New York NY @ MSG 5/21/2010 HD" is one of the ones by VideoGremmie.

I hope someone bridges in the audio recorded on the real deal boot. Cause the videos are awesome, audio is horrid (in some).

There are SO many to choose from but if I go on a bout of watching YouTube music vids this one is always in my rotation.
Simple, yes. Went through a stretch where this was my favorite song. (Still one of my faves)
Love how into it the crowd is -- the quality on the picture isn't as great on this version of the performance, if you search you can find others.
At the Ed Sullivan too, what a cool spot to see them!

  • I am obsessed with the Jones Beach Daugher> It's OK. I post it on my facebook stream at least once a month, and other's too. I went nuts when I got to hear it last weekend! (humble brag ;))
  • I agree that the 'It's OK' tag was definitely a highlight of Sunday night. I believe I remembering Ed mentioning during the introduction to Daughter that they were going to play a rare tag that they hadn't done in many years.

Sadly, I was tipped to the soundcheck by someone who knows and understands my obsession, so I knew it was coming... but it was still so great to throw myself away amid the joy.

And, in keeping with the subject of this thread, I'll thow out this one:

My wife has threatened to make me wear headphones if I keep putting the MSG DVDs on every time we come back from drinks. Can you wear out a DVD from watching it too much? (Like I, and countless other PJ fans, did with VHS copy of MTV's Unplugged?)
