the anticipation was so great
though i'd barely seen your face
i thought you might see me
look into my eyes
and i would know it was you

the odds were against it
in a crowd so massive
i thought you might see me
look into my eyes
and i would know that you found me

i searched so many faces
looking for recognition
i thought you might see me
look into my eyes
and i would know you were my destiny

as i walked away
i knew it was over
i knew you'd never find me
look into my eyes
and i realized that i make my own fate
No time to be void or save up on life...you've got to spend it all.
