What are my odds of getting a poster in Calgary? is it virtually impossible? I've never picked one up at a show,..but I assume they don't last long. Just wondering. thanks

They had TONS of them at Alpine, but there also was a huge demand

You will have no problem. As long as you don't get there 3 hours after the doors open, you'll be fine.

The sizes vary, but normally 18x24. A normal size tube is good, though some venues don't allow them in.

  • Many venues who actually allow tubes also offer "coat check" where you can check your tubes or anything else you don;t want to get ruined. Always helpful!

  • Thanks guys, luckily I can grab a tube at work, if they take it, so be it.

If your heart is set on a poster, don't take any chances, just to ensure no disappointment, because they do sell pretty fast. I would get there a little early and make the merch table your first stop.

and I've always found that rather than get in the back of the huge, unorganized mass waiting at the merch table, I just make my way up to the side of the table and then sweet talk the merch lady and I always get in and out in 5 min. Doesn't work if you are ugly :(

Slip a $20 in their pocket would probably get you in and out in 3
