What is the deal on recordings of Ed's shows?

Just need an update--been out of the loop for a while. I've heard of recordings/videos being taken down, as well as threads requesting recordings being locked. Can anyone give me the info. on this? Thanks.

    10C only gave out the EV policy without any reasoning.

    what you want us to do, point a gun at 10C and demand an explanation?

    Many of us have made threads about it including myself and never got the answer. My thread got deleted because of all the various theories behind it.

    Quick recap of rant: Some said Ed turned into a sellout. Others said the film studio/producers might have some rights to the soundtracks. All unanswered ;)

    if you look at the videos from the Vic show last year, you'll see all the flashes from cameras... seeing that, I udnerstand the "no camera" rule. As for the "no recording" let's hope that means they're going to release the shows on CD and/or DVD.

    Also should be noted when formulating theories:
    a) PJ has a no video taping policy but it's pretty much just a formality
    b) All Ed's tapes are ok to trade except the April' Fools as can be seen on Dimeadozen's restriction

    Shows (or at least a show) are out there you just need to look for them. Listening to the 4/7/08 Berkley show now and it is quite enjoyable. Would be nice if he makes an East Coast leg before the summer tour maybe.

    The only thing realistic enough to me is that there is a 3rd party involved, meaning bootleg distributor most likely.
    I don't see what interest would Eddie himself have in it. Even if you want to believe he is a sell out, what does he have to earn from this? If it was about the money he has plenty of easier options out there at the reach of his hands.
