A rumor, then "confirmed" by many.... even a poster depicting him on it for Pearl Jam's celebration of 20 years... and he never showed his face! :lol: WTF?

    While I'm disappointed that I couldn't get to PJ20, it would have killed me if they had done a one-time Mirrorball set. That being said, If Neil isn't going to play those songs anymore, there's no reason that PJ can't bust out I'm The Ocean.

    Neil is getting up there in age, 65. And he has always kind of done his own thing in regards to other people's expectations. Maybe he'll pop into a canada show for a couple of songs..

    they had one done by hampton i believe,,, had NY at the head of the dinner table feeding kids. lol. you can see it on the bay i'm sure. i got one.

    if he was going to show up anywhere, it should be Winnipeg. Ed talked about him ad nauseum at that show, and everyone in the crowd expected him to come walking out. He didn't. So I don't expect him at next week's Peg show either.

    Yeah, would have been cool, but I'm sure he had his reasons.

    As for the Neil poster, I'm sure it wasn't made with the idea in mind of Neil being there, just showing what an influence he was on the band, and his label of being the "Godfather of Grunge". There were many PJ posters that had various depictions of George W. Bush on them, and I'm fairly certain he was never at any of those shows, or even the Bush mask.
