These guys are easily my two favorite bands, by light years. I like to think that Pearl Jam is our generation's Zeppelin. The only difference to me is that PJ has a larger social impact, while Zeppelin was just about being the most talented musicians ever.

  • i often compare to the 2 myself, and don't get me wrong i like many zeppelin tunes, they are talented musicians... oh that's right except for Robert Plant and his rock-ruining voice of shit. And the 70's were an unforgivable time for rockstar fashion. I cringe in embarrassment when i see old sabbath and zepp live videoes...
    anyway, just my 2 cents

This might be a dumb question on my part.. have you ever heard the PJ/ Robert Plant Set from the House of Blues Chicago?

Two bands that both push the margins - and are so much more as a unit than just four members.
