  • That just about sums it up!
"Then the Spirit of God hovered over the water, and God said, Let there be music, and there was Pearl Jam."

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
  • Since when is Habit a B-Side?
AskPearlJam: PearlJama101-guest says: Who's idea was it for Eddie to play banjo on "Soon Forget"?
Eddie: I don't know whose idea it was but it was turned down.

Well, I hate to be this guy, but "Habit," is technically a B-side. Before No Code was released as a full album, the "Who You Are," single was released and featured "Habit," as the B-side. In that particular context, the author is not wrong about the song being a B-side. Of course, I doubt he wrote that line in the article with this knowledge in mind.
  • Shit, you're right. I briefly forgot that. So the correct answer is "Since July '96". Elevated to album track status 4 weeks later.

  • Actually...B-sides used to commonly feature a second song from an upcoming album that may have been deemed not radio friendly etc... The A-side was the single that companies wanted the stations to play... though the B-side might fit on different style stations (college/undergroung/indie etc) a way of promoting a full length release using both sides of the single... many former 'B-Sides' actually took over the A-Side...there's some famous ones...but not coming to mind at the moment...
