Ok people, I know some of your expectatons were not met tonight, maybe they didn't play the songs you wanted to hear most and you felt disappointed and ripped off because you came so far and did not leave satisfied... All I have to say is I have been a big pj fan for the last 15 years and that tonight was cool ... I think we all have grand ideas in our head about a perfect show or setlist but we need to keep in mind that above all this is pj celebrating twenty years together and we have another set to go to tomorrow as well and to add to our memories... You could tell the band was trying hard and they know these are not normal shows but we can't be too judgmental of them for not playing for four hours two nights in a row or having a weird flow of a set or whatever..enjoy the band, enjoy the music... If you don't enjoy it please feel free to move on to bigger and better things but don't pollute the forum of the band who has treated us so well for twenty years as your instrument to bring them down because they deserve better than that... I'm not trying to be righteous I'm just saying that if you can't appreciate pj and pj20 then feel free to exercise your right to leave

Looking at the set list and keeping in mind what this weekend is all about, I would venture to guess
that the vast majority of fans who attended have gone back to their hotels, campsites, or wherever
else they are staying with a smile on their face.
The band has been bringing people together for over 20 years and letting them share in their passion and love
for what they do. They let you escape your otherwise dull and dreary lives to unite for a few short hours
and listen to some of the best lyrics and music that has been written in a very, very long time.
Yea, you spent a shitload of money to get to Alpine this weekend but you know what, nobody twisted
your arms or put a gun to your head to do it.
The boys put this event together to show how much the fans have meant to them and how big a part
of their lives and success they have been.
Hard as they try, the will never be able to meet each and every one of those fans expectation but
you have to applaud and commend them for trying.
My suggestion to those that are complaining and bitching is don't go back Sunday, I'm pretty sure
 you won't be missed.0

            Well said!! :clap:0

We in the South spend a shit load of money all the time to see the band
 play the south!
doesn't change how we feel about them
 it's not about money
 it's about love and memories
can't take the money with you when you leave this world
I say stop bitching period ... be thankful for the memories even if not perfect
cause over time they seem to become more perfect
 what is that saying ...
forget the bad ...remember the good ... this what time does
this when you look back and cherish the memories 0 0

When we got out of our cars in the parking lot, around 4, and just took in the scene of all those people tailgating, as far as the eye could see ... it was awesome.
It wasn't like a typical festival, where fans of various bands are gathered together in some sort of melting pot. Every single person there, all 37,000, were there for one reason only.
To think one band could inspire such passion, such a bond, such a community ... really THAT'S what this weekend is about. Not the stupid setlist.everybody wants the most they can possibly get
for the least they could possibly do0
