Update from Alpine: We Miss You Already

For those of you who are here in spirit only, a thread to keep you up to date.

First, you should know a few things about Wisconsin. It is very flat and features a lot of cornfields and many cows. Cows come in several color varieties which I believe does not actually influence the flavor of ice cream they produce.

And despite coaxing, their replies are limited to "moo."

I got lost driving from Milwaukee to Delavan which is ironic since I'm supposed to be UNlost.

Friday night's Wishlist preparty was surreal. Imagine walking into a bar full of unmet friends, where everybody knows your (user) name.

There were 10clubbers from as nearby as Milwaukee and as far as New Zealand, Chile, Costa Rica, Germany, Slovenia and oh yeah, a guy from Greece. ;)

And one was from exactly 2 miles from my house. (Woot Woot, new pal from East Boston!)

Somehow theserialthrilla managed to slip through customs. :shock:

The beer of the day was Spotted Cow which I think was an IPA but don't hold me to that. I had many, many Spotted Cows and they were yummy.

Cluthe/Lee were awesome, and it was so much fun to enjoy their sets amid so many friends. Sweet CD, too!

Lots of great merch, all for excellent causes.

There was a volleyball game during which a volleyball was smacked directly into my nose. Also, I have a large bruise on my shin which I cannot account for, as well as a vague recollection of being interviewed by a media guy with a camera.

RCKNDY and I are playing hallway race cars with the luggage cart at our hotel. It's all good.


We are off to the Piggly Wiggly now. I'm very excited and can't stop saying "Piggly Wiggly."

    Boston representin. I can't wait for the book. Weeks away. So much going on. The Hysteria. I might have to settle for Itchy Fish in Providence in a few weeks. LOL. Zig puts on a good show. Keep the posts going Dogs.

    Also, for those there, spend the $5 and buy ponchos or take very large hefty trash bags and use them because the rain sux, but still a good time.
